Lenses
Whether your vision is 20/120 or 20/40, your lenses may impact the thickness of your glasses. At Vision Splendid, patients can choose from single vision, bifocal, trifocal or progressive lenses. Your lenses are customised to help you retain optimal vision and eye health. We also offer an anti-reflective coating to patients who want optically clearer lenses. The best solution for you isn't necessarily the most obvious. We strive to provide a visual solution that is tailored to your specific lifestyle and vision requirements. Due to significant advancements in lens design, we now have a wide range of spectacle lenses to select from to get the best vision and eye comfort. High-quality prescription lenses are also available as Transitions (auto darkening and lightening lenses), with a variety of tint colours, hard coating or anti-reflection coating options. Prescription polarised lenses are also available as well as lenses designed to mitigate migraines.
Migraine Glasses
We are approved as suppliers of a specialised lens called Avulux which has been clinically proven to reduce or halt migraines. A Harvard study showed that particular wavelengths of light responsible for the colours blue, amber and red increased migraine intensity, while green light was soothing. Avulux lenses filter out 97% of harmful blue, amber and red, while letting green light wavelengths through. With up to 60% of migraines being triggered or exacerbated by light, we are proud to provide a lens which minimises the significant impacts of migraines while providing crisp vision.
